Gerhard Schedler, President & CEO
Gerhard Schedler

Gerhard Schedler began his career in 1994 at GANTNER ELECTRONIC when he joined the RFID development and project management group. During that time, Mr. Schedler was involved in the development of diverse RFID systems including the LEGIC system (market leader in access control) and the BENZING system (world market leader for carrier pigeon tracking).

In 1997 he took over the responsibility of the long range RFID division of GANTNER ELECTRONIC. Later, when GANTNER was spun off into IDENTEC SOLUTIONS (in April of 1999), Mr. Schedler became Chief Technology Officer. Since 2002 he has overseen the global sales and marketing initiatives of IDENTEC SOLUTIONS. In 2005 Mr. Schedler was appointed to the Management Board as the COO/Vorstand, and as of January 1st 2006 took on the role of global CEO & President of IDENTEC SOLUTIONS.

Mr. Schedler holds both a technical degree from University of Applied Sciences of Technology Buchs (Switzerland) and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Economics in Strathclyde (Scotland).

Peter Linke, EVP Sales & Marketing
Peter Linke

Peter Linke is a co-founder of IDENTEC SOLUTIONS Inc., and currently heads the American operations and is responsible for global sales and marketing.

Prior to rejoining IDENTEC SOLUTIONS in March of 2006, Mr. Linke was the VP of Sales for I.D. Systems, Inc. (NASD:IDSY), a New Jersey based RFID firm focused heavily on mobile asset tracking.  In the three years Mr. Linke held that position, annual revenues rose from $6.8M to $19M and market capitalization of the company rose from US$52M to well over US$200M.

Prior to his time at IDENTEC SOLUTIONS, Mr. Linke held a number of senior level positions, including President and CEO of Ward Laboratories, Inc, Vice President, Western Region of CCSI.

Mr. Linke holds a Masters of Business Administration from Athabasca University in Alberta, Canada. 

Stefan Schwiers, Chief Technology Officer
Stefan Schwiers

Coming originally from the textile machinery and production line industry, Stefan Schwiers was in charge of building up a new technical support in Alexandria, Egypt before becoming a sales manager for Turkey and Greece with power of attorney at Trützschler GmbH & Co KG., a market leader in fiber preparation plants.

Stefan entered the Auto ID industry in 2002. Starting as technical support manager for the German operations of SATO, an industrial barcode printer manufacturer, he was appointed technical manager for the new European operations in Brussels. There he played a key role in the development of the first European spectrum compliant UHF RFID printers and is a holder of a patent in RFID label application.

Subsequently, he held the position of CTO for TagStone, a newly formed systems integrator in Dubai/ UAE. As a result of his efforts, TagStone won a large development project at DHL in the UAE, which has gained international interest throughout the DHL group. In February 2007, Stefan accepted the position of VP Technology ILR at IDENTEC SOLUTIONS and is currently in charge of the entire research and development in the ILR product line.

Stefan Schwiers has broad international experience and is holder of a national German engineer’s degree.

Hannes Grabher, EVP, Finance and Administration
Hannes Grabher

Hannes Grabher holds a degree in law from the Leopold Franzens University, Innsbruck, Austria (2000). While working toward his doctorate law degree, he worked in different courts in Innsbruck and Feldkirch. Later, Mr. Grabher gained experience in economic consulting while working with the Commercial Counselor of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce in Seoul, South Korea (1998).

Subsequently Mr. Grabher worked as a corporate and client advisor at the Bank für Tirol und Vorarlberg, a leading regional private bank, and was responsible for the top companies in Vorarlberg and the southern area of Germany. In 2004 he joined IDENTEC SOLUTIONS AG as the EVP, Finance & Administration.

Herbert Hohmann, VP Sales, Automotive

Herbert Hohmann brings to IDENTEC SOLUTIONS, a solid reputation, and a highly regarded track record within the international automotive marketplace. A career that spans over 30 years, Hohmann is well noted for his ability to transform manufacturing processes utilizing cutting-edge technology for a competitive advantage.

Previous accomplishments include 25 years of industrial automation experience at a number of respected international companies such as Rhode & Schwarz, Texas Instruments and Honeywell. Since 2003, Herbert Hohmann has led the automotive division for Rockwell Automation with a focus on Europe, the Middle East and Africa. His client roster has included Daimler Chrysler, General Motors, Volkswagen, Ford and BMW.

Frank Wehus, VP Sales, Oil, Gas & Mining
Frank Wehus

As Director of Oil, Gas and Mining for IDENTEC SOLUTIONS Frank Wehus will be responsible for the customer support of the WATCHER series technology line. Formerly CEO and founder of Wtek AS, Norway, Mr. Wehus brings an intrinsic knowledge of both safety and tracking as it pertains to the oil, gas and mining industries. Co-developed by Wtek, the WATCHER series has been regarded as the most advanced, effective and rigorous solution in the global market place.

Prior to his successful Wtek venture, Mr. Wehus held the position of IT Technical Manager with Scan Computers and was credited with the successful repositioning of a pure technical department to a profit driven service department.

Mr. Wehus brings to IDENTEC SOLUTIONS a degree in Business Administration and IT Management with a focus on IT Security.

David Lambacher, VP Sales, Americas
Rod O'Keefe

David Lambacher's career in the Automatic Identification Field began in 1978 when the US Department of Defense announced the adoption of the LOGMARS specification for logistics tracking. He went on to work with the automotive industry's adoption of Auto ID for error proofing and lean manufacturing and participated in the initial meeting for the Automotive Industry Action Group, AIAG. He pioneered the introduction of Code 128 which has now become an accepted industry standard.

He began his association with RFID technology with its introduction to the automotive industry in 1983. He went on to become the Eastern Regional Manager for Intermec Corporation growing the region to over $100 million in sales and accounting for over 1/3 of the overall corporate revenue. Later he managed a global sales force for an SAP integration company more than doubling revenues each year. Mr. Lambacher joined IDENTEC SOLUTIONS in August of 2006 as Director of Business Development for the Americas and became VP of Sales, Americas in February of 2007.

He holds a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Administration from General Motors Institute, and a Masters of Business Administration form the University of Southern California.

Kenneth Lee, VP Sales, Asia
Kenneth Lee

Kenneth Lee, a highly respected international business leader, is the managing director of IDENTEC SOLUTIONS Asia Limited, an IDENTEC SOLUTIONS Asia regional office located in Hong Kong. In his current position, he is responsible for the Sales and Marketing, Channel and Partner program, and customer relationships for IDENTEC SOLUTIONS in Asia.

Prior to joining IDENTEC SOLUTIONS, Kenneth was Managing Principal for Motorola Professional Services located in Beijing, P.R.C. Kenneth later became the vice president of Motorola Asia Pacific responsible for the Asset Visibility Systems utilizing active RFID and wireless technologies.

Kenneth was also a co-founder of Sanda Technology Development Limited in Hong Kong. He was instrumental in developing and deploying the Resource Tracking Solution in the construction industry, utilizing active RFID and wireless technologies.

Kenneth has a Master of Science degree in digital electronics, University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. He is a graduate in electrical engineering from Hong Kong Technical College.
