The Container Inventory module takes container lift and drop events linked to a slot location via position detection and generates a message for a Terminal Operating System (TOS), which can then complete the assigned job.

The Container Handover module builds upon the Container Inventory module by adding various positioning and vehicle identification technologies that allows Terminal Tracker to link container events from one container handler to another.

The Job Promote module utilises IDENTEC SOLUTIONS RFID events to identify the current truck (both Terminal Trucks and Over-The-Road trucks) nearest the Container Handling Equipment and promotes the current job linked to that truck. This places the job at the top of the Radio Data Terminal job list screen making the selection of the job easier, quicker and more accurate for the Operator.

• No need to search for jobs on a list
• Reduced time to select the job, as the truck to be serviced will always be on the top of the list 

The Job Optimise module makes use of positioning data generate by the IDENTEC SOLUTIONS Onboard controllers and position sensors to provide intelligent location updates to the Terminal Operating System (TOS). This allows the TOS to make better decisions when distributing job orders to Container Handling Equipment allowing Terminal operations are as efficient as possible.

• TOS planning based on real time information, instead of last job completion 

The Job Arrive module takes a deeper look at the dispatched or selected job and identifies the steps involved in completing the job. Once the steps are identified the Terminal Tracker Onboard controllers will monitor data from the IDENTEC SOLUTIONS position sensors to automatically send arrival notifications at key points in the job execution process.

The Operator Login module utilises the authorisation events generated by the IDENTEC SOLUTIONS card reader to automate the process of logging an Operator and Container Handling Equipment in to and out of the Terminal Operating System. This eliminates the need for the Operator to interact with the Radio Data Terminal before receiving job instructions or after executing the last job at the end of a driving session.

The Operator Access module utilises the information collected by an IDENTEC SOLUTIONS card reader connected to the Terminal Tracker Onboard controllers. The card identification is checked against an onboard list to restrict access to only approved vehicle Operators, if the card inserted is authorised to operate the vehicle a signal is sent to the PLC or Ignition Control Unit to all operation. All operational events reported back to the Terminal Tracker server include the authorised Operator details allowing easily accessible reports and driving statistics via the Client user interface for Terminal Tracker.

Either as a standalone or building upon Operator Access the Operator Safety module draws from a software defined set of Pre-Operational Safety Check (POSC) questions that must be answered once per shift before a vehicle can be operated. The Operator Safety module integrates seamlessly with other Terminal Tracker modules such Operator Access and Fleet Availability and Scheduling to improve the overall safety for a Terminal’s personnel.

The Fleet Telematics module utilises the information collected by the Terminal Tracker Onboard controllers from IDENTEC SOLUTIONS sensors, PLC signals and vehicle integration. The information is collated and processed to create convenient tasks and reports for the purpose of live and historical operations tracking as well as productivity metrics across a user specified time range.

Incorporating an IDENTEC SOLUTIONS-designed Shock Sensor on terminal vehicles allows the Shock Management module to report, alert, and even shut down a vehicle when a significant shock event occurs.
